Return and Refund Policy for Personalized Shoes

At Inlace, we strive to provide the best customer experience by delivering high-quality personalized shoes that reflect your individual preferences. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction, which is why we have created a fair and transparent policy that protects both your interests and our business.

  1. Partial Payment Policy

To confirm your shoe order, we require a partial payment, which helps cover the initial costs of customization and production.

Customer-Favorable Note: We understand that situations may arise, and in the case of order cancellations, we do not want you to bear unnecessary costs. However, the partial payment is non-refundable as it covers costs we’ve already invested in crafting your custom shoes.

  1. Full Payment Policy

If you choose to make the full payment upfront:

  • We ensure that the portion equivalent to the non-refundable partial payment will remain non-refundable, as this covers the initial customization and production work.
  • However, the remaining amount, after deducting the partial payment, will be refunded if the cancellation and refund request is approved, according to the guidelines mentioned below.

      At INLACE, every sneaker is handcrafted and customized with care. To ensure fairness and transparency, please review our refund and replacement policy below:

      Replacement & Damaged Products

      Replacement for damaged or approved cases will be processed within 5–7 working days after verification.

      3. Refundable Scenarios

      Refunds or replacements may be approved in the following cases:

      Manufacturing defects that significantly affect the quality or usability of the shoes.

      Incorrect order fulfillment, such as wrong size, design, or material compared to the confirmed order.

      Transit damage, provided a clear parcel opening video is shared at the time of delivery (as mentioned in Section 5).

      If a refund is approved, the amount will be credited within 8–10 business days from the date of approval.

      Non-Refundable / Non-Creditable Scenarios

      Partial payments (or the equivalent portion of full payments) are non-refundable, as they cover customization and production costs.

      Order cancellations after confirmation, since customization work begins immediately upon order confirmation.

      Minor variations in design, color, or finish, which are natural in handcrafted and hand-painted sneakers.

      Claims without a valid parcel opening video, as this is required to verify transit-related issues.

      Visual differences from website images — slight differences may occur because INLACE specializes in sneaker customization, not mass sneaker manufacturing. Each pair is individually hand-customized, making every piece unique.

      Returns based on customization preferences (such as color tone, brush strokes, or artistic style) are not accepted, as these are subjective and part of handmade customization.

      Category-Specific Eligibility

      Only sneakers listed under the Comfort Pro and Originals categories are eligible for exchange or refund, and only in cases of genuine manufacturing defects.

      All customized and hand-painted sneakers are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects or transit damage.

    1. Non-Cancelable Orders

    Once an order is confirmed, we begin production to deliver your personalized shoes. Therefore, orders cannot be canceled after confirmation.

    1. Reporting an Issue

    If there are any concerns with your shoes, we are here to assist:

    • Please contact our support team within 48 hours of receiving your order.
    • To ensure a smooth resolution, kindly provide a parcel opening video showing the unopened package and the shoes inside. This will help us better understand the issue.
    • Provide additional photographs or details of the issue, if necessary.

    Our team will carefully review your case and ensure that a fair solution is reached, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the situation.

    1. Conditions for Replacement or Refund

    To maintain fairness, the following conditions apply:

    • Resolutions, including replacement or refund, will only be provided after we verify the issue.
    • The shoes must be in their original, unused, and unaltered condition for us to process a refund or replacement.

    Given that each pair of shoes is handcrafted and personalized, slight variations in design, color, or size are natural and do not qualify as defects.

    Claims made without a parcel opening video or those that do not meet the outlined conditions cannot be processed.
